Future Stars
Future Star Dancers (ages 3-5, not yet in kindergarten)
This class is geared toward a young dancer that has not yet entered kindergarten. We will explore movements with age appropriate technical dance structure. The students will use props that will help them to develop motor skills and body awareness through songs and dance. The class will help students to develop fundamental coordination, such as hopping, skipping, leaping, and galloping. Additionally, they will gain further practice in basic classroom social skills such as how to take turns and follow the leader. In addition to these dance skills, students will begin instruction on basic movements for ballet class, jazz/hip hop class, and modern dance.
*No shoes required, though dancers may wear ballet shoes.
